Dartmouth College

Bachelor of Arts

I graduated with Honors from Dartmouth College, where I really took advantage of the flexible liberal arts curriculum. By the end of my sophomore year, I had taken 17 courses spanning 17 different departments, sampling as many fields as I could, before settling on Film & Television Studies as a major.  As an undergrad, I edited the campus humor magazine, contributed to the student newspaper, and helped start the college's first TV station when I created and produced its first weekly program (a sketch comedy series).

Master of Fine Arts

After a couple years working in Florida politics, I then went to USC, where I got an MFA in Motion Picture Producing from the Peter Stark Producing Program.

Part of USC's film school, Stark is an intensive two-year program that uniquely focuses on the business of film, television, and new media as much as the art.
